  • 2019 January-May: taking the course of Vocal Pedagogy for Musical Theatre and Contemporary Commercial Music at Alabama School of the Arts, University of Mobile, with Dr. Maryann Kyle – made possible through Transilvania University Research Scholarship and UM support. This class met twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays via ZOOM. It offered a great understanding of vocal techniques, styles and practices in MT and CCM. I highly recommend it!

Here are some photos from our “breakout room” (thanks to: Julian Jones)

  • 2018: Two-week Research Scholarship for Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, Institut für Musik, Germany granted by Transilvania University, Brasov

I had the privilege of participating in Dr. Gunter Kreutz lectures (Psychology of Music and Emotions and Lernen durch Singen). I joined in Silja Stegemeier’s Vocal Pedagogy class for Music Education and devoted endless hours exploring the resources of the Institute’s Library, on Music and Performance Psychology. The outcome will soon be out.
